Shovel Selling Rocks! Gold mining isn't worth your time. So camp out on some virtual corner of the net and open up your very own shovel store. PLEASE!

A Shovel Seller Opp is just a product or service (in this case one that is marketed using a network marketing compensation model) that is something useful to EVERYONE in a given industry.

Let's take the yachting business (sorry, I just LOVE boats of all sizes and types). Selling yachts is the equivalent of becoming the gold minor. Selling yacht insurance is becoming a true shovel seller. Having a hull cleaning service - shovel selling again. Both of these are also repeat business whereas the yacht sale might only happen once every 15 years, albeit a bigger payday.

Ok, so what are some of the Shovel Selling products/services within the direct networking industry?

Let's look at some of them:

1. Web hosting (few can get by these days without a web presence)
2. Autoresponder service (you would have to be CRAZY to do without this, or try to "mow it myself" - a DIY autoresponder - ugh!)
3. A lead generation system or a lead-production service
4. Courseware about the industry

With the exception of the last entry - courseware - all of these are "consumable" - meaning repeat business, month after month - a very good thing! If you can put your customers on an automatic renewal, much like the phone, internet, power and water companies do with their customers, then you have created a steady, uninterruptible cash flow.

Ok, so what is an ESSO? It is short for EXCLUSIVE Shovel Seller Opp - the exclusive part is killer - think of it as monopoly power - when you have an ESSO working for you, there is nobody else who has what you have. Other than your peers (those who have adopted the same ESSO), you have zero competition - you get to write the rules.

So, what is meant by exclusive? Let's look at the above 4 shovel sellers (there are many more, but these serve as good examples)

Is providing web hosting services an ESSO? Nope, your friend's kid down the street (who is 12) provides web hosting too, along with 10 MILLION other companies and resellers.

How about the autoresponder service? Again, nope. There are many of these. Some are certainly better than others. But a clever software developer can invent a new one in a few weeks. Thus, the pro autoresponder business segment will always remain NON-exclusive - plenty of options for people to choose from.

And lead generation? hardly. Lead services and lead systems are a dime a dozen, and thousands more pop up on the radar every single week! Not an exclusive product or service

Courseware? Wrong again. When you teach this stuff, you are competing against many, many resources. That old wise uncle at the family picnic has the ear of your potential customer. Their local library. Their local adult education center or system. Their local community college. And then there's the net. Torrents. File Sharing Web Sites. Friends in far-flung places, all with the potential to teach your customer something that YOU wanted to charge them for. NOT exclusive.

So is there one? Does the beast exist? It does. And it's deceptively simple. And it's network marketed. And the demand is global in scope, and radically cross-industry, cross-organizational, cross-cultural. Oh, and you could teach Grandma how to click the mouse and make money with it!! hehehe - pretty cool, eh?

Now that I've got you where I want you (hint: this is what I call IFM - Internet FLIRT Marketing), you'll have to contact me to find out what it is. :D
